Zenthai Shiatsu

Zenthai Shiatsu is a holistic fusion of yoga asana, Traditional Thai Massage, Zen Shiatsu, and Osteopathic techniques, all integrated with focused intention at its core. Often described as a dynamic dance between practitioner and receiver, Zenthai combines fluid movements, mindful touch, and therapeutic acupressure. Many of its gestures are inspired by martial arts, with a shifted intention towards healing. Zenthai has evolved to be widely recognised as a profound structural and energetic therapy, effectively addressing challenges within the musculoskeletal, digestive, and nervous systems.

Grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Zenthai works along the body's meridians to support the flow of Qi, the vital energy influencing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Techniques such as acupressure, stretches, joint mobilisations, and rhythmic compressions are used to clear blockages, relieve pain, and restore energy flow, addressing imbalances that manifest as pain, illness, or emotional distress.

Our practice also incorporates the Five Element Theory—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—each linked to specific organ systems, emotions, and natural cycles. By understanding the body's unique energetic patterns through these elements, we customize each session to meet the individual’s specific needs. Sessions take place fully clothed on a mat and are complemented by personalised diet and lifestyle advice to maintain the benefits long-term.

Natan leads the Zenthai Therapist Training, a comprehensive 9-month program that delves deeply into the art of touch, structural alignment, and energetic bodywork. This program equips practitioners with the tools and knowledge to support others on their healing journey, cultivating a space for transformation.

Flying Therapy

The yin side of AcroYoga allows us to slow down and cultivate the art of trust, conscious touch and the capacity to let go completely. With the use of gravity, body weight and harmonics this form of therapy allows a unique conversation with the power to realign and release.

Flying therapeutics improves oxygen flow to the brain, circulation, posture, lymphatic drainage, hormonal responses. Clients do not receive the rush of blood to the head that many participants of other types of inversion therapy experience. This is because the client has their knees bent during the massage, and the practitioner's feet are pressed against the major artery in the lower body, the femoral artery. This slows the blood flow returning to the head, resulting in a sense of calm, and a temporary reduction in brain activity.

Pregnancy Zenthai

Pregnancy is one of the best times for a Zenthai treatment, benefiting both you and your baby. Here we use peaceful, flowing movements and stretches that will support mother and baby in welcoming growth and transformation. With its holistic approach pregnancy Zenthai aims to balance the nervous system, increase the lung capacity, support blood health and distribution of Qi.

Incorporated into a routine, Zenthai can greatly improve the overall wellness during pregnancy and bring relief to a great array of symptoms related to changes of the musculoskeletal system. The ideal time to start a prenatal zenthai regiment is the second trimester through the end of the third trimester, when energy levels are starting to decrease and uncomfortability increases.

This treatment takes place in a side position on the mat utilising cushion supports under the belly, the legs, the arms and the head.

“Our fluid body is a magical place, where it can feel like we slip, slide and move from within, without any thought or effort. Our fluid body is a realm of bliss. We feel as if we are a drop of water in a vast and deep ocean.

Our inner fluid realm is important for optimal health. It is a place of no resistance. Our tensions simply dissolve and melt back into the ground of our body. It is a place of inner freedom where fear, anxiety, and tension have no lasting hold on us. Staying in the deep waters of not knowing, without the impulse to action, allows the fullest transformation from potential to manifest.”
